What every model comes with

Acoustic-insulated walls and acoustic glazing keep calls and conversations inside the pod and the open-plan floor outside it. Take a call, hold an interview or work through a hard problem a few metres from the desks.

Fresh air comes in and warm air leaves through the roof the whole time the pod is in use, so it stays comfortable through a long call or a full working day. The number of fans scales with the model.

A ceiling sensor brings the lighting and ventilation up as someone steps in and powers them down after they leave. Nothing to switch on, and nothing left running overnight.

Touch controls for lighting and ventilation sit beside a AU power socket with USB-A and USB-C, so laptops and phones stay charged without a cable to the floor.

Every model comes furnished for its job: a height-adjustable desk and stool in the S-Pod, a height-adjustable desk and office chair in the MW-Pod, and a table with sofa seating in the M2-Pod, L4-Pod and XL-Pod. All of it is in the published price, not an extra.

The pod stands on its own wheels and levelling feet rather than being fixed to the floor, walls or ceiling. Reposition it when the layout changes, or take it with you at the end of a lease.

Questions buyers ask next

See all questions

Start with what the pod is for, rather than with how many people you have.

If it is private calls and heads-down work, that is a one-person pod: the S-Pod for short sessions, the MW-Pod if someone will use it for most of a day.

If it is conversations, count the people who will normally be in the room. The M2-Pod is a two-person meeting room. The L4-Pod is designed for four and takes six for a shorter meeting. The XL-Pod is designed for six and takes eight.

Two things catch people out. If you will be presenting, count the screen as an occupant — it takes up a side of the table. And size for your normal meeting rather than your largest one: a pod that is right four days a week beats one that is right once a month.

If none of the five fits, we build custom — any size, capacity or footprint. Tell us the space, the headcount and what the pod is for, and we will come back with a recommendation.

Peacepod prices start at $8,795 + GST for the S-Pod (single-person phone booth) and go up to $23,995 + GST for the XL-Pod (six-to-eight person conference pod).

All standard models: S-Pod $8,795 · MW-Pod $11,795 · M2-Pod $12,395 · L4-Pod $13,895 · XL-Pod $23,995 (all + GST). Custom pods are priced on request.

The published price covers the pod fully fitted out as standard — LED lighting, continuous ventilation while the pod is in use, acoustic glazing, a power socket with USB-A and USB-C, a proximity sensor that brings the lighting and ventilation up as you step in and powers them down after you leave, and wheels so the pod can be repositioned.

The furniture is included too: the desk, seating, table or display mount that comes with your model. All of it is standard, not a paid upgrade.

Delivery and professional installation are quoted with your order, based on your location and site access.

Your pod is assembled on site. It is delivered in sections and our installation team builds it in position, so there is nothing for you to assemble.

Installation time depends on the model and the site. We will confirm what to expect when we schedule your delivery.

It plugs into a standard power outlet, the same as any appliance. New Zealand and Australia both run 230 V, so the pod is built for the outlet you already have.

The lead is 2 metres long and the connection is at the bottom of the pod. There is no option to run the supply out through the roof, so the outlet needs to be within about two metres of where the pod will stand. If it is not, tell us before delivery rather than on the day and we will work out what is needed.

Inside, there is a power socket with USB-A and USB-C on the control panel, alongside the lighting dimmer and the fan-speed control. If you need more than one, an extra socket is on the options list, and so is a network port.

Generally not — but if you are in any doubt, check with your local council. What we can tell you is how the pod is installed: it is assembled on site, stands on its own wheels, plugs into a standard power outlet, and is not fixed to the floor, walls, or ceiling.

Tell us about your site and we will share what comparable installations have involved. For a definitive answer on your building, check with your building manager or local council.

Yes. Our standard Peacepod models sit on wheels and are not anchored to the floor, wall, or ceiling, so you can reposition a pod within your space yourself.

If you are moving office, we offer a relocation service — get in touch and we will help coordinate it.

We hold stock of our standard models locally in Australia, so if the model you want is in stock we can usually deliver and install within one to two weeks.

If your order needs to be manufactured, the lead time is approximately eight weeks. That applies to custom pods too — a custom build does not take longer.

We will confirm the lead time for your specific order before you commit.

Yes — that is what the showrooms are for. You can spend as long as you like inside a pod: make a call, listen to how much of the room drops away when the door closes, and get a feel for the size.

Each showroom has a selection of models on display, and which ones varies by location. Get in touch before you visit and we will tell you what is on the floor, or arrange for something specific to be available.
